Perhaps the fastest, noisiest card game you have ever played!

Ages: 7+
Players: 3-10
Contents: 112 Cards and Instructions

$30.00

How to Win: Get all nine cards of one African crop and one ASANTE! card first.

Basic GamePlay:
Once the dealer shouts, TUANZE! (too-WHAN-zeh!), Go! Players trade ALL AT THE SAME TIME—shouting the amounts and swapping the cards in Swahili—

  1. MOJA (MOE-dyah)
  2. MBILI (mBEE-lee)
  3. TATU (TAH-too)

OVERALL RULES:

To start, players are dealt with a mix of different crops and Asante! cards.  Sort the cards to help determine which of the ten crops you will collect along with one Asante! card.

Let’s Go!

Without showing what you have, trade 1, 2 or 3 cards of the same crop for the same number of cards with other players.  Trade what you don’t want and keep what you do want.

Score!

Once a player has gotten all nine of one African crop and one Asante! card, tally the points and play again.  Continue playing as many rounds as you like.

Win!

The player with the highest score wins!

Winning The Game:
Got it? Yell NIMESHINDA! (nih-meh-SHEEN-dah!) and all trading stops. Once proven, that player wins!

KELELE is a fundraiser to help pay for two guys from Tanzania, Africa to come to the USA for school.  It is similar to Pit with gameplay changes like ASANTE! cards (totally different from Bull and Bear) and the fact that it can be played with up to 10 players in both English and Swahili.
